Taste of Asia Restaurant - London

I've decided to have a quick lunch break in this restaurant while in London on a business trip. I'm happy with my decision as this is a nice little Asian eatery with a good food and fast service. Interior and exterior needs some maintenance, however, the place is clean (including washrooms).

I visited and got takeout. They are trying to be too much and don't do it well. Huge menu, likely over a hundred dishes listed. I got chicken chow mein, chicken fried rice, vegetable spring rolls. They didn't have fresh wrapped vegetable rolls that were on the menu. Chicken looked like it was boiled in water then fried for 10 seconds. Tasteless. The rice was obviously not day old as it was sticky and lots of clumps. Only had chicken and a few chopped onions, soy sauce and nothing else.Maybe they do Thai dishes better, but the Chinese was not good.

We were staying across the street at the Delta Armouries Hotel. The meal was good, service was efficient and the price was very reasonable. Two of us had dinner and drinks for less than $30.

Terrific Singapore noodles. Very friendly staff made immediate substitutions for food allergies. Very clean. Fast service.

I came here after passing by the restaurant many times and wondering what the Chinese food was like.
