Red Slate at the Upper Pass Lodge

We had an amazing dinner at this restaurant. The food was excellent, with top-notch service and a wonderful atmosphere. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all at 5 stars.

This restaurant is a true gem, offering incredible value and a fantastic dining experience. While staying at the lodge on-site for three nights, we couldn't resist coming back to dine here multiple times. I highly recommend trying the Maple Bourbon glazed steak, which was one of the most flavorful and well-prepared meals I've had in a long time. The burger, wings, pizza, and salad were all equally outstanding and delicious. If you find yourself in the area, this restaurant is a must-try!

The service at this restaurant was average, neither exceptional nor particularly poor. The atmosphere was also average, neither particularly charming nor unpleasant.

What a quaint experience. The Red Slate Restaurant is such a niche dinning experience for date night or family dinning. We were able to enjoy breakfast and dinner, recognizing the chef takes pride in the quality ingredients they use. Beyond the fantastic food, the service was amazing! Visiting Vermont from Central Florida, We look forward dinning at Red Slate again. I am not sure how often they rotate the menu, but the fish and chips (you have to try the tarter sauce), salmon, and all of the steak options were wonderful. Great spot!!
