The coconut curry on the menu had a thick, unappetizing consistency and the butternut squash was mushy instead of being properly cubed. Overall, the dining experience was terrible - we had to wait a long time and ended up spending too much money for subpar food. The price of the dish in the picture was $20, which was disappointing. Despite the kind staff, I would only give this restaurant one star. The overall lack of professionalism is evident in the quality of the food.
I went to this restaurant for lunch on Saturday and really enjoyed the atmosphere. The place was clean and well-maintained. I was thrilled to finally discover a good Indian restaurant. We started with the dynamite chicken appetizer, which was delicious and perfectly seasoned. The chicken Tangdikabab with steamed vegetables was decent. The standout dish of the meal was the "Not your Grandma's butter chicken," which was served with plain rice. The chicken was moist, tender, and packed with flavor. We also ordered a village basket with three types of bread - butter naan, garlic naan, and onion naan - which paired perfectly with the curry. Finally, the Masala chai was a perfect way to end the meal. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning.
The crispy cauliflower with tomato chili sauce was deliciously seasoned and complemented the southern style fish fry perfectly. We both thoroughly enjoyed it! We're looking forward to trying the tasting menu or patio grill next time. However, the lamb korma was just okay.
Amazing food and experience. Went to Urban Village grill with my family today. For appetizers we tried their grill with all vegetable grill items. Marination was to the perfection and taste was superb. Dipping sauces are very unique and tasted great. We had a great family time. For main course we tried aloo gobi and veg korma. Both are excellent with great flavor, delicatebalance of curry, spices and the taste of veggies. We will go again to try some of the chef specials. Overall excellent food, ambience and great experience. This is a unique restaurant to provide great experience and excellent food. Staff were highlyprofessional, courteous and made our experience even better.
This is the first time ever I am rating an Indian restaurant as 5-star and I cannot be more happy! It was an impromptu dinner plan and I was not expecting much from this place. It is an Indian fusion restaurant and the menu keeps changing every fewmonths. The ambience is soothing and service is great unlike other Indian restaurants around. We ordered rasam, south stylefried fish, butter chicken and Garlic naan. Prices are as expected and not too much. Every food item was delicious andappetizing. The menu is not over the top and you can feel a lot of thought process took place to chalk out the menu. Cannot waitto be back to try their patio grill. Hats off to the chef for coming up with the concept of Indian fusion food in Denver! Wishyou all the very best and hoping the service is good and food is delectable as today! I would highly recommend it! We recentlytried their grill menu and it was an amazing experience. The marination sauces are tasteful and goes with every protein optionavailable in the menu. We had hariyali chicken, Shrimps and achari paneer. You get the marinated raw protein that you order asper your taste, once the grill is hot, place the shrimps, chicken, paneer, etc on the grill and let it cook in a tandoor way.Ideally, each side 90 seconds is enough to cook is what the chef recommends. Enjoy your food with mint chutney, hot sauce andsone inions and lemon wedges. We will definitely come back again for this grilling experience.
