Main Chick Hot Chicken - Long Beach

Sadly they are not delivery friendly. It's a hit or miss if they have someone at the counter and you can't just grab the order off the rack.

I have eaten here several times before. Went today and was totally disappointed. Got 2 number 1. The fries tasted like they were cooked in old oil and were extremely salty. One bite of the chicken tender and it too wasoextremely salty. I didn't even eat the sandwich. Threw it all in the trash and money wasted.

I been here before but today it was off taste different but still ate it. BIG MISTAKE I couldn't stop throwing up made my stomach upset for hrs. LESSON LEARNED. I will give it try again some other time everyone deserves 2nd

The chicken reminds me of raising Cane's except it's better quality. It's a little bit more expensive than raising Cane's but the quality of the chicken is definitely better. It's like a stand so there is no atmosphere as far as the restaurant go. I would definitely not recommend the macaroni and cheese. You would think with a place that's trying to imitate southern food that the macaroni and cheese would be baked instead of just cheese sauce like you would buy out them frozen section in the store. Should be like your mother's that she bake with cheese.

Keep in mind I was starving for 9 hours prior BUT this is a very solid hot chicken sandwich shop. They give a lotta fries (crinkle cut seasoned if you're curious (they were also a lil saltier than necessary but we went near close and the chicken is rather generous. The chicken breading was crisp, the fries were crisp, it wasn't too greasy and it was very flavorful. Adding cheese in my opinion is worth the extra couple cents. Spice level is very good I got the medium spice and it was a good slightly burning but not enough to bug you. It's in a covered little open air seating plaza with 3 (4? other restaurants so it has a very welcoming energy during the day. AMAZING chicken sandwiches.Parking: There's a shared parking lot in the back.
