Just watched this episode of kitchen nightmares. Never been here but am fimilar with a good hotdog. These hotdogs look like they come from Thumann's and if that's the case I guarantee all looks aside these dogs taste amazing! Hope you guys make it to 100yrs!
Spent $90 (with tip) here on 3 hot dogs, 3 sides (fried pickle chips, fried zucchini sticks, shoe string fries), and 3 sodas...NON-alcoholic drinks. The hot dogs were ridiculously overpriced for the taste. I had the Mr. Max hot dog- it 's $14!!! It was a long dog with a weird pit creayed along the length with *what looked like* cheese-wiz inside the pit and a big glop of chilly on top of the section inside the bun. It was bland and the bun was crumbly/stale. My boyfriend had some hotdog with sourkraut and onions on it and was ok. My daughter had a regular plain hot dog and the bun fell apart. They should 've stuck with what Gordon Ramsey suggested for the hot dogs cause they went back to their old ways. For $90, it should 've been the best hotdogs on the planet. They, most definitely, were not. Service staff were friendly and offered to get another bun for my daughter, but they were all stale and crumbly. And they were tiny compared to the really long and thin hot dog... similar to what Gordon Ramsey held up in the beginning of the 2023 Kitchen Nightmares episode. On a good note, I didn 't witness drama. They did have a lovely woman singing and playing guitar, though. It was good atmosphere, I just wish the food matched up.
Nice hotdogs and a rich history. But good lord MK is a horrid person! I would keep her as far away from my business as possible.
Good food and service but I wish I was able to shove a hot dog up MK's you know what!
