Norah's Irie - Long Branch

My fiancée brought me to this restaurant on a whim, claiming it to be the best spot for authentic Jamaican cuisine, and I must say, it was absolutely delicious! Surprisingly, it reminded me a lot of my Cuban roots—who knew it had such Caribbean similarities? Nora, the hostess, welcomed us with such grace; she truly makes you feel like family as soon as you walk in. The vibrant artwork and colors transport you far away from New Jersey. I'm so glad I had the chance to experience this place. Thank you!

The food is incredible, and the portions are generous—one meal can easily be enough for two people. I tried the oxtail with rice and the curry chicken with rice, and my family and I shared everything.

I ordered from this restaurant and had an amazing experience. The lady is incredibly sweet and helpful. They accept both cash and card payments. The ox tail is fantastic—so juicy and flavorful. Their curries are also delicious. Overall, the authentic Jamaican food tastes just like homemade.

You are so blessed to have Norah as your neighbour. A beautiful person and a wonderful soul. I haven't had such delicious homemade island food since we were able to travel. I can't wait to go back. I'm glad we bought a lot of food. We have two more days left. All we bought was just fantastic the stuffed beef, the Ruck Pig and rice and the peas... Always Staples when I'm on the islands. Norah is not disappointed. In fact, there is a taste that makes them just over the top. Maybe it's love? Do not be afraid of something in the menu if there is something you didn't have, give it a shot. I don't think anything could disappoint her kitchen. Make sure it's a banana bread day you use. Her homemade rumcake is over the top and her homemade incubator is spicy and delicious. Come on the nicer weather I'll buy through the bucket load... God bless you Norah! I can't wait to be back!

Amazing food. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu and the ox tail is amazing and love the wings.
