Corner Bistro - Long Island City

The bartender is friendly and straightforward, ensuring great service. This place isn't your typical burger joint; instead, it's a bar that serves up delicious burgers in a clean and uncomplicated setting. When I sat down at the bar, I noticed they offered both McSorley's dark and light beers, along with popular options like Yuengling, Stella, Blue Moon, Smutty Nose IPA, Blue Point, and Sierra Nevada, creating a well-rounded selection.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The burger was outstanding—perfectly cooked and incredibly tasty. The French fries were delicious, and the thick, juicy burgers were among the best I've ever had. Patrick, the bartender, was incredibly friendly and helpful; he even assisted us in setting up the pool table, and we ended up playing for hours. It's a great neighborhood spot!

This was my first visit since the management change, and I think they're doing quite well. The food hasn't changed much, and we had a great time. We ordered the fried pickles, which were delicious, along with two burgers. I also tried their chocolate milkshake, which was thinner and creamier than I anticipated. If you're expecting a thick shake, this isn't it, but it was still enjoyable! I would recommend this place over most burger joints in the area. I’d also love to try their other curly dishes sometime.

Not as delicious as the western village original, but much more comfortable, less crowded, more beer choices, and they take credit cards. So overall a good value when you are in LIC, plus they have a $10 burger and beer lunch special that will beat taxis.
