Bayou Tavern - Longboat Key

I’m so sad to have to give this restaurant 2 stars Because food is delicious. The enormous problem is due to the owner Dominico . He is Soo incredibly RUDE every time I have come in. I refuse to go back now due to this fact. It was my favorite Italian in the area. Unfortunately for the bayou I have many friends who feel the very same way. Dominico is losing customers due to his own rude behavior. sad.

Food was good, but service was very very slow. I recognize that they are short on staff, but I think we turned in a 3-hour meal. Would go back, but hopefully they will have more help with faster service.

The owner/manager has the worst attitude and customer service. I’m a full time resident on Longboat (also 9 months pregnant) and went in to get 2 pizzas and he refused to take my America Express. I explained that was the only card I had and he still refused. Every time we go there they are always rude, especially the lady at the bar. Never going back.

Angelo's food is the real deal for anyone craving delicious Italian food!

Excellent food and friendly service in a comfortable atmosphere on the canal. Great bar for a drink or a glass of wine before an excellent dinner is the way to go!
