In summer the beer garden is great. The food is full of flavour and the portions are more than generous. Menu is wide ranging. It has a great pint of Guinness and is hard to leave! I highly recommend Keenan's.
This was the first pub we went to on our honeymoon in Ireland where we had our first Ireland Guinness. The food was very good and the service quick. This is a traditional Irish pub so it was more authentic than a touristy spot like some of the others we stopped at during our trip.
For a great meal and evening out, I highly, unreservedly recommend this super pub restaurant. The location is lovely, the pub itself is friendly, comfortable and warm. The staff are quick and helpful. Excellent pint of Guinness! The food is hearty and generously portioned. Steaks are huge and appropriately cooked and thoroughly enjoyable. The menu is varied enough to be interesting, something for everyone, without getting overburdened. Everything on it is well executed, be it protein or veg. This is a wonderful place to spend an evening with family or friends. There is a lively atmosphere and the sense that it's all right to relax and stay for a while.
Been a few times. It is a nice place for an evenings hang-out or a Sunday meal. Food is homely and desserts are kick-ass. Compared to The Purple Onion next door it is real value for money and you can relax in a calm 'non up-tight ' atmosphere. Couple of T.V 's and a nice conservatory-type place to take your tea/coffee/beer/wine on a summer 's day. Lovely place.
Its an homely restaurant, clean and friendly ,the food pleasing enough,, I have one complaint the foreign waitresses especially one ,she has a habit of talking way to much when serving and lingering, other than that enjoyable will return .
