Contribuisci feedbackTried lunada for the first time this weekend and we were all impressed. the ambiente was simple, but clean and beautiful. it also felt spacious and for a relatiw small place. our server was very friendly and attentive. the food was excellent. our party of three had chicken Fajitas, crispy fishtacos and pozole. they were all really fantastic. the accents for the fajitas were delicious, cold and fresh, especially the guacamole that was great. we'll be back.
I'm guessing they were just understaffed but the service was quite odd. No hostess and when we found someone the person we found was quite socially awkward. Wouldn't look at us and didn't ask if we wanted anything. Ordering anything was like pulling teeth. The food was okay but the service and the communication were odd and slow. We were 1 of 2 tables so I'm not sure if we just showed up at the wrong time or what the deal was. I don't think I'll try this place again.
My family enjoys tacos and guacamole and checking out both restaurants and food trucks whenever we can. On our visit to Lunada we found it lack luster. You could tell the table hadn't been wipe down to start. When my wife inquired about what type of fish, the fish tacos were made with, the response was.....they're breaded. And no let me go ask the chef. The guacamole appetizer came out. Honestly all I could taste was onion. Overall we had 3 different types of tacos all of them were fine. But nothing I'd drive out of my way to eat. There's too many other Mexican restaurants in Boulder County. Not to mention sitting next to a dirty dough mixer.
The worst mexican food experience I ever had. Stale rubbery chips, a burrito sitting in a pool of gravy that tasted like toilet water. I lived in CA and this place is an insult to mexican food. Smothered burrito with no cheese, maybe a spoonful of microwave rice and a few beans. Definitely not coming back.
It was clean, and the waitress was very friendly. But I have to say, those were some pretty lame tacos. There was like zero flavoring to them. I was hungry, and it was hot, but I doubt that I'll go back. It was literally like cooked ground beef in shells with toppings. Ken 720-425-2407
