Old Chicago - Longmont

What a disappointing experience! It had been a while since we visited this location, and it will definitely be our last. They were out of four items we ordered. After placing our order, it took 20 minutes for us to receive our salad and first drink. We finally got our pizza after waiting 1 hour and 15 minutes. The waitress was doing her best given the circumstances, but overall, it was not a good visit.

The pizza was decent, but my wings were dry. The sauce wasn’t evenly distributed, and they arrived cold, as if they had been sitting under a heat lamp while my pizza was being prepared.

The salad dressing was excessively acidic, and the salads contained large chunks of iceberg lettuce alongside various other leaves, some of which had a fuzzy texture that made them unappealing to eat. Several staff members walked by to ask how our food was, making it difficult for us to enjoy our meal without interruption. The pizza was excessively greasy, and the artichoke dip came with similarly greasy chips. The one positive aspect of our visit was our waitress, who was friendly and provided excellent beer recommendations. Overall, based on our recent experiences, we’re unlikely to return.

I recently visited this restaurant for a beer while staying at the hotel next door. The staff was friendly, and there was some live music playing, although it wasn't quite up to the standards I'm accustomed to from bars in the Chicago area. The beer selection was impressive, offering a variety that would please just about anyone.

I last visited this restaurant about three years ago and promised myself I would never return because of the awful staff and poor food quality. However, I decided to give it another shot, and I had an entirely different experience this time. The food was beautifully presented and served at just the right moment. Their selection of draft beers, as well as bottles and cans, was impressive. It was great to see that they still offer beer tours. The place was quite busy, even though I was seated in the bar area on a Sunday at 9 PM. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!
