Summit Tacos - Longmont

Fantastic staff! Great outdoor eating area. Delicious food try their queso fundido, guacamole, and mesquite as apps and then try many of their tacos! All amazing!

I absolutely adore this place! They have some if the best street tacos and they have live music on saturdays! I live really close by and they are really sweet about being respectful to their neighbors to boot. Thanks for being awesome!

What a gem! Have been to Summit a handful of times since last year and consistently get high level service, great atmosphere and excellent food.If you 're a Summit newbie, do yourself a favor and go for the Taco Flight. I believe it 's right around $20 bucks for one of each taco on the menu. Perfect tasting menu order for you and a partner or two.Last time I visited I got the Mole enchiladas with Chicken and it was among the very best Mole sauce I 've ever had. Rich, smokey, sweet, packed with flavor. Rice and beans were on point as well.Pro Tip: Get the Elotes. Always get the Elotes.Nice sized portions. Incredible atmosphere and always great service. Summit is a staple in my rotation.

So, my husband and I found this place coming from Berthoud. We LOVE good tacos so we were excited. The food was decently good, and we enjoyed the atmosphere. The 3rd time we went in, it was my son’s 1st birthday and we wanted to get some tacos and go to a park near by. The man who took my order (he had a facial piercing, I think a dermal near his eye) was EXTREMELY rude. He took my order and I saw him pouring my horchata into a glass. I had then said, “oh sorry, it’s supposed to be to go” as he never asked if it was to go or not. He then gets very snarky and says “you should have f’ing said that before I put the order in”. This response was just so wild to me as I’ve never had someone be so rude while at a restaurant. It was HIS job to ask me if it was for here or to go. And then he was VERY rude for no reason. This place is counter service, not a sit down restaurant. It would be very different if we were sitting at a table and our server brought us our food and I said it was actually for to go.I wasn’t going to order, I actually asked for my money back after that encounter my we already had our heart set on tacos so I decided to order but with the manager instead. The manager did not apologize, all he said was it was a misunderstanding. It clearly was not a misunderstanding, your worker was very, very rude for no reason, and something that was HIS job.This actually happened the evening of august 5th, almost a month ago. I’ve debated on posting this review but I’ve decided it’s warranted and we will be finding a new taco place. I’ve posted about this encounter on a Longmont community Facebook page with a couple thousand people and over 50 of them said I should leave a review and most of them said they won’t be coming back, either. It was just a very uncalled for experience and it really sucks that someone with 0 hospitality has to ruin it.

Food very good. Don't like standing in line to order. Limit inside seating. Nice outside areas to sit.
