Good waffle house. came at 6 and was not very busy. table of 7 in and out within the hour. great service our drinks never emptied. good fresh coffee. The floor was soaking wet in the walkway to the booths and behind the counter from the sink to the booths. The guy at the front door taking names for the waitlist just stood around and played on his phone while the rest of the staff was trying to bus tables, wash dishes, take orders, deliver food etc. I’m sure there was a rush of customers before us but it should have been all hands on deck to get things cleaned up, presentable, but more importantly safe for staff and customers. My husband is 69 years old and had to walk on wet, slippery floors. Another customer went to leave and actually slipped in the water by our booth. There was food floating around in the water and that’s nasty. Several people left after seeing the mess and have been seated next to other people’s dirty dishes and the condition of the floors.
