The aioli served with the chicken schnitzel complimented the dish! Both meals came with dressed salads and chips nothing on the plate tasted oily which I loved!<br/ <br/ Overall a great pub meal! The venue itself was really nice, the fireplace was cosy and perfect for tonight’s rain. There was ample seating and the bar was buzzing for a Wednesday night.<br/ <br/ The prices of meals are quite high, mostly $30+ and the serving sizes aren’t huge however the the ingredients tasted of great quality. I never mind paying more for a great feed!
Really good pub grub and great decor and atmoshpere. Small outdoor area that has now become dominated by smokers unfortunately. Trivia on a tuesday is great fun but get in early for a table.
I can't go past the chicken schnitzel here, it is one of the best. And great that they take my request to swap fries for mash. The schnitzel is so crispy on the outside and perfectly moist inside. The coleslaw is crisp, fresh and vibrant and combined with the tartare-esk sauce it is a great combo. I prefer the mash since it evens out the crispy texture of everything, so so good. All washed down with a lovely cab sav.
Have been to the Longueville Hotel many times for work lunches. Both in big groups and small. The menu is extensive and would please most people in the group. We were even given the option once to phone orders through ahead to save time. Its had renovations in the last couple years so the terrace areas are very good looking and modern. worth going.
Quite good food menu. Would be great if there were perhaps a few more healthy options but again it's in a pub so you can't expect too much. Generous portions too
