Boxcar B Que - Longview

Every time I come in town I stop here to get bar b que. It is amazing. Juicy meat, flavorful sausage with a smooth texture and delicious sauce that isn’t too Sweet or overly spicy. I’ve sent others and they are repeat customers now as well.

The wife myself been in Longview almost 8 years. We stopped in for 2 2-meat plates takeout here for the first time. We both got brisket ribs, coleslaw beans and it was awesome. I've tried other bbq places and they just weren't satisfying so I've been very skeptic about getting bbq again anywhere. We will definitely be back, I want to try the turkey ?.. Sandwiches are great! They are a generous size and the meat is delicious tender. We order the chopped beef sandwich and split it. It’s enough for my wife I. The serving size on the sides are small, and for that reason I don’t recommend getting a plate. Everything that we have tried is very good.

I'm a Native Texacan and this is truly superb BBQ!!!! We had the beef sandwiches and pitsburg hot links. The BBQ sauce is primo!!!!! Love the atmosphere, like the general store vibe from my childhood.
