First Watch - Longwood

I’ve been going to First Watch and it’s still one of my favorites despite many other brunch places that have popped up in the last several years. The staff are always very friendly and welcoming and many stay for years. We ordered the two of the Seasonal Specials Modern Croque Madame and Pumpkin Pancake Breakfast. Both were delicious and the croque was savory. It’s a nice twist using challah. We also enjoyed two cocktails the **** Mary and Morning Glory (with ginger and turmeric). The Morning Glory was refreshing without a strong flavor or ginger or turmeric (although I wouldn’t have minded it with a stronger flavor). The Million Dollar **** Mary was nice and spicy. It was been a while since we visited and I was glad that we chose First Watch for brunch.

Recently attended a F&F down in Boca, when we learned that they are adding adults beverages to the menu. We visited this location years ago for mothers day and had a great meal. Was in the area and decided to stop, and yet again they exceeded our expectations. Service and staff was great, we had the Works Omelet and the Lemon Ricotta pancakes. Both were superb! Oh and the spike lemonade was really good!

This was my first time here. All the food was delivered fast and hot. Food tasted fine at first. I ordered the Smoked Salmon Benedict and Trio. I got home and my stomach was ruined for Father’s Day. I was either in bed or in the restroom for the next 18 hours. Absolutely terrible…

This was my first time going here and I have to say I am very pleased with everything. Their logo is yes its fresh, and I have to agree. The menu had so many good options that it was hard to pick. I wanted something that made me feel good and on the healthier side. This was extremely tasty. The atmosphere was calm, and it had a barn feel. The decor was great. As soon as we sat down, there were two cups to be filled with coffee if you wanted it. The waitress brought the coffee thermos and left it there. Also we asked for water and she left a small pitcher of water. I have to say that was great for me. No one seemed rushed, and the service was great.

First Watch is a very nice breakfast and lunch restaurant. Omelets are always great. The salads and sandwiches may not be as popular but they are fresh and well put together. Pricing for the food is also very reasonable.
