Mcdonald's - Longwood

This place is run by teenagers. I’ve had typical wrong orders before that I can live with like items missing. Tonight we received a special burger in my daughters happy meal, with a fresh bite taken out of it. Didn’t see anyone in store who looked like an adult and they don’t answer their phones.

SCAM ALERT!!! 1. Went through the Wekiva Springs McDonald’s drive thru at approximately 1:30pm, 9/21. 2. Ordered a Fish Filet Meal. 3. Got home and found fries and receipt missing. 4. Tasted the fish filet and found it to be old, dry, and uneatable. 5. Went back to the store and asked for a fresh fish filet and fries that were left off the order. We did not request a drink because as usual Coca-Cola got the drink part right. 6. The lady in purple who identified herself as the “person in charge”said MacDonalds policy was they could only help us if we had a receipt and the old food. 7. At that point we discovered that there was not a receipt in our bag when it was handed to us through the window. 8. We surmised at this point that we had been scammed by the Wekiva Springs McDonald’s Management, since we never received the fries or a receipt, and we innocently left the dry old fish filet with one spit out bite of it at home. 9. We still needed to eat, so we had to by an additional fish filet and fries. 10. : Lessons Learned 1. Drive by the Wekiva Springs Location no matter how desperate you are. 2. Do not stop at the Drive Thru. 3. Do not Order and Pay twice to get a complete and edible fast food meal. 4. Be patient and drive the mile and half to the McDonald’s at Hunt Club/436.

I have been eating at this McDonald's for seven years and it's the best location in Florida. I visit weekday mornings for breakfast and always use the drive thru. So many of the employees have been there for a long time. They are friendly and know my order by heart. The team seems to work well together and there is rarely a long wait for my food. Lunch and dinner meals are good too (for the most part) but their breakfasts are amazing. The manager has been there for a while and she's great. No complaints here.

I have one happy kid and one sad kid. Went to get happy meals for my two kids. They only put a toy in one. Thanks McDonald's. This place is average at best, and you must always, always check their work, to avoid the one toy drama that happened to me or worse.

We ordered from this location through Uber Eats. We get that it's fast food but our order was DISGUSTING. The buns were burnt on all our sandwiches and the fries were DRENCHED in salt. Never again!
