Sanford-orlando Kennel Club - Longwood

I have been coming here for a few years now and have always had a good time. I know people are concerned about the treatment of the dogs but often they bring the dogs around to meet you and I've always seen them to be happy and well taken care of. I'm not a huge gambler but it is fun to make a few bets and watch the races one in a while. I haven't been in the actual clubhouse part of this venue but I hear it's a lot nicer than the other parts. In the main part there are a few places to get drinks and snacks and I've found the drinks to be very reasonable priced. They do have a full bar. There are self service betting kiosks as well as at least 2 humans working that you can place your bets with. They have TVs all over the place with races from around the country. I know the dogs are going away come January 2020 and I'm not sure what will become of this venue.
