Nice location, nice operation, good portions, price is right. Especially the salads can be recommended! From me very clear 5 stars!!!

Very nice ambience, very friendly staff, good food with really neat portions, brand new toilets. We will definitely come back as soon as the Corona-Spuk reopens the restaurants! Since there was not much going on during our visit, we could talk to the service and the boss at the end... it was a very nice conversation where it was clearly to hear that these take the prescribed Corona measures very seriously, even if the implementation of the same is associated with additional stress in operation. Unfortunately, there are always dominions that have no understanding for this and do not realize that, thanks to their impatience and their resulting irresponsible actions, they only cause NOCH MORE effort for the restaurants that have already been plagued. It does not seem to be considered by these dominions that, in extreme cases, serious difficulties for the restaurant result from this behaviour. In a time when gastronomy is struggling for survival anyway, it is incomprehensible to me how some people can still walk through the landscape with indescribable self-righteousness and think that they have to project their luxury problems here in bad revenge assessments.

Hilchenkeller found by coincidence. super beautiful restaurant in the hilchenhaus, lorch am rhein. we were surprised by the menu that is unusual. we ordered delicious ochsenbäckchen it tasted super and was freshly prepared. we will return to our next hike.

Had a beautiful evening on the terrace. The staff were very kind and welcoming. We could try all wines we wanted and anything was possible. We ordered three courses and everything was super yummy!

Set in a historic building the ambiance is charming making it a great place to enjoy a glass of wine while you consider your options for dinner. It was a slow night during off season so we had the full attention of a friendly and helpful server who knew when to hover and when to leave us alone. Great experience, if I were a local this would quickly became one of my haunts.
