Kafe Kaos - LORNE

We hadn't had breakfast after leaving airleys inlet early to visit lorne. We came across this cafe and we're not disappointed. Great service and a delightful brunch, I had the fresh muesli, with fruit and yogurt, and hubby had the large breakfast. The eggs were perfectly cooked, and everything was super fresh.

Had great pumpkin soup here today served with lovely toasted sourdough bread. Great coffee too and really friendly efficient service. Lovely funky place. Will be back soon.

The food and service was good, however the chai latte was not a chai latte. We know chai lattes to be a creamy mixture of chai tea, milk, cinnamon, nutmeg and so forth. The chai latte was simply chai tea with hot milk which was undrinkable. I think the product should be renamed on the menu to 'Chai tea', as to not mislead people the way we were.

I periodically get cravings for this delicious peanut butter filled goodness. Worth the months (and sometimes years) of anticipation before I find my way down here again.Staff are super friendly, and winter is gorgeous. Highly recommend, especially after a beautiful morning of hiking in the Otways!
