Great for a cold lunch on Sunday. I had never eaten Filipino and I was definitely surprised how delicious it was. get the calamansi ginger soda. we finished our lunch with the version of the French toast. I have to try! the mood is very cold and the staff is very friendly. leave them with a full and happy touch.
Next to lasa this is one of the best Filipino food in la. eating are excellent. we order crispy mushrooms, crumb noodles, clear noodles, fried rice, but the star of our night was black bell. cocktails were good. our server was very attentive. parking was then absorbent, it was difficult to find a parking space in this area.
I love that Filipino food is being experimented with! The food was delicious! Sucks that we had a 10:30pm reservation on a Saturday night though. Would have ordered more food if we came earlier! We were able to try the Lumpia with sea urchin, Milkfish inihaw, hangover fried rice and crab garlic noodles. The crab garlic noodles didn’t really come off as a Filipino dish but I still liked it. The calamansi lemonade could also be just a little bit sweeter.
Lumpia was good. I love their fried mushroom. They look like fried chicken but tastes like heaven! Pork belly was too fat. I only enjoyed the crispy side. The dessert was just okay.
