Dittmer's Gourmet Meats Wurst-haus

We purchased $300 worth of meat from this restaurant this week, and the Cajun sausages we ate last night caused food poisoning. We are hesitant to consume the rest of the meat now. This timing is particularly unfortunate as I have a newborn baby. We always use a thermometer to ensure our meat is cooked to the proper temperature. Interestingly, my daughter did not eat the Cajun sausages and is the only one in the family who did not get sick.

This restaurant is the worst. I placed an order online for a ham. I called and was told I could pick it up today between 10 and 12. I arrived at 10, but there was nothing ready. The clerk behind the meat counter told me I could only pick up at 12. I explained what I had been told, but she insisted that I had to wait until 12. If this clerk had any sense of customer service, she should have apologized for the confusion and offered to get my order for me. In my 35 years of retail experience, I know that if any of my employees treated a customer this way, they would be fired. I give this place a negative rating.

Drove all the way here out of my way because no one picked up the phone after calling over 5 times. I asked if they had muscovy duck because I bought it here before and the girl behind the counter was rude and just said NO with no further explanation even as I kept trying to find out if they would get more in the future, she just dismissed me. I wont be returning back here.
