Rustic House Oyster Grill - Los Altos

First time trying this restaurant and the waiter was happy to provide recommendations. LOVE the grilled oysters and cioppino! If you are not counting carbs, get a 1/2 baguette $3.95) to soak up every drop of the cioppino. Drinks are tasty and strong too. There are plenty of outdoor tables if you do not like to be confined indoors.

We visited this restaurant on a busy weekday evening. I ordered the sole with crab. I noticed it was cool when I was eating it. Upon looking closer I saw that it was completely uncooked in the center. To make it worse there was a LIVE WORM wriggling out of the fish. We were disgusted to say the least. Management offered to comp our meal when we brought it their attention but otherwise didn't really seem to express much concern. This restaurant has UNSAFE food preparation putting diners' health at risk. Needless to say we will not be returning ever and would not recommend it to anyone.

Not only was the food delicious, but our server, Cory, truly went above and beyond to make our meal special. From his warm welcome to his attentive service throughout the evening, Cory made our dining experience exceptional.

Had an amazing timwith my wife, food was good. Our a server Cory did a great job making my wife and I feel comfortable and welcome right when we came in. Overall just had an amazing time, and can't wait to come back.
