The burrata had its pleasant taste, so was the steak not bad. The beef skewers were the single disaster hardly could I expect anything drier and stiffer served in a restaurant. The mushroom ravioli was one of the specialty here and was worth considering to order (the caveat is that it was a bit too greasy, plus toosoft not sure if due to being cooked too early). Lastly, the creme brûlée could be much improved if sugar was added less generously.
Nice and cozy place(good for date), seating area on the sidewalk is great. Attentive staff, staying on top of your needs. Good quality food, decent size entries. Good selection of pastas and more. My steak was delicious and my wife really liked her salmon.
Amante Restaurant is an amazing place. The food is consistently 5 star. We really enjoy dining at this establishment. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. We have been here often enough to watch their newbies grow and become excellent customer service providers. Amante never appears to be busy, though we only enjoy dining during weekend lunch hours. I have been told that they have a very busy online ordering schedule to maintain. The dishes are bountiful in portions andyou will always have extra for later. I have noticed on several occasions folks speaking Italian to the staff. I absolutely love that. Parking can be an issue. I highly recommend this Italian restaurant. It truly is one of the best.
When I visited the restaurant, it didn't appear to be very busy, but there was a small party happening. The service was a bit lacking in efficiency, as when I sat at the bar, the bartender, who had a small ponytail, didn't give me a menu right away. He seemed to be taking care of everyone around me, but would skip over me each time he passed by. Just as I was about to leave, two friendly servers or perhaps other bartenders noticed me and finally gave me a menu. I followed my server's recommendation and tried the Calabresi Norgina pasta, which turned out to be delicious, creamy, and savory. The flavors blended together nicely, especially when paired with a red wine Chianti San. Overall, the food was excellent and I had a great time. The only downside was the bartender with the ponytail, but everything else was wonderful!
Merry Christmas! I’ve insisted to get to this place. Restaurant was half empty on Christmas night. Two server were there. One told us to wait 5 minutes to get seated. I went in meantime to the bathroom and wrote couple messages there. After I’ve arrived back we had to wait again and one waiter came out. I’ve expressed my concern: “if we wait for 7 min to get seated, how long will we be waiting for food?” The waiter replied: “up to you, guys”. The waiter who was accompanying us to the table left back to the bar before I could reply and we stood alone in the middle of the restaurant. We left. Merry Christmas
