Baracoa Cuban Cafe - Los Angeles

I took my family to this restaurant after a trip to Costco since it was nearby and looked appealing. It's a cozy spot, with around 10 to 15 tables, and I have to say, it served some of the best Cuban food I've ever tasted. My son ordered the Cuban sandwich with fries, and he absolutely loved it. My wife chose the Arroz con Pollo (chicken and rice) and declared it amazing. I was indecisive between the Cuban sandwich and the Pan Con Lechon (roasted pork sandwich), but the hostess/waitress advised me to go for the roasted pork, and I'm so glad I did. It was incredibly delicious, and just like the Cuban sandwich, it came with fantastic fries. We also tried some sweet plantains that were delightful, along with cheese and beef empanadas, which were excellent and surprisingly not greasy for fried food. Overall, it was a fantastic meal.

The food was absolutely delicious in a charming atmosphere. Although it was bustling when we arrived on Saturday night, we were seated promptly. Unfortunately, the outdoor area was closed, which caused some potential diners to walk away since the indoor seating is limited. I hope they consider opening up the outdoor space so that more people can enjoy their fantastic cuisine!

The food was incredible! The waitstaff were delightful, and the ropa vieja and flan were spot on! I will definitely be coming back!

I’m from NYC, so i’ve had some good cuban food. but man…this is some of the best i’ve ever had. great prices, cute restaurant, incredible food. Thanks guys, hope to come back soon!

If the Sandwich Cubano is good in my experience all the food is better.
