Something so simple but so common, restaurants will do their interpretation of the classic. Although it is difficult to make a catastrophe, it is not easy to make it careful-blowingly unforgettable. In this case, I think that Blu La Cafe will get high marks, but not the highest. The bread – on its signature Blu La Cafe Burger, the soft rolls, beautifully held together. The juices, meat and vegetables with Mayo were all well kept together. I assume that the Burgerpatty was hand-packed by scratches as it fell apart while I ate it. And that's good. Although the only negative comment I had was that it was something too salty or something too much spicy. Apart from that, it was a solid burger. My compatriots had the Monterey Burger, strongly influenced by our waitress. Perhaps I have ordered that if I was not lined by the text of “Award-winning” for the Blu La Cafe Burger. The bite I tried from Monterey Burger had the kick from Jalapenos and Monterey Jack cheese. I think that something about the benevolence of the burgers melts well with the spiciness. There were also some orders from the Truthahn Lasagne. Unfortunately, one of them came out a bit laboriously and not cooked the whole way. But my other friend ended his, in record time. The little bite I tried wasn't that bad. But it's not something I would overtake or suggest to order. There were two things that were in consensus. The fries and the fried mushroom ravioli. The skating frits that came with my burger were stolen, fry by fry, from my plate before I was able to finish my burger. I think I only had a few pommes. They were thin, crispy and not too fat, what they should be. Then the fried mushrooms Ravioli, roasted ravioli filled w/ Portobello mushroom, Ricotta cheese romano cheese, served w/ house chili oil, the hit of the night. The chili oil was so good, we used it as a substitute for ketchup for the frits. The two orders we had were shared among us all and quickly discarded. I think one of the girls' mouths was orgasm with joy – Miss B. Because of the ravioli, my friends made a blood package to return. At any rate ..Blu La is a beautiful joint in the heart of Downtown LA, next to Cole’s and the club. Parking will be a challenge, but I think it's worth it.
