Boo’s Philly Cheesesteaks Silverlake

This place is a hidden gem that you might easily miss if you're not specifically looking for a Philly cheesesteak. It's the closest thing I've had to an authentic Philly cheesesteak. The restaurant has limited parking and a small outdoor seating area. On this visit, I tried the Philly cheesesteak with mushrooms and peppers, but I think my go-to choice here will be the classic Philly cheesesteak.

A taste of Philly comfort food. Boos did a very good job and the food was worth the trip.

I ordered a very hot sandwich that came double-wrapped—once in paper and again in foil. The tight wrapping trapped the heat, which caused the bread to become mostly soggy. I thought, "Okay, I'll overlook that and focus on the meat." However, the meat itself was also quite mediocre and forgettable. I had high hopes based on the good reviews I had heard, but sadly, it did not live up to expectations.

It's a bit unusual to place your order through a screen and then receive your items for both regular and Uber deliveries, but I guess this is just a sign of the times we live in!

Ok sandwiches were amazing! Online ordering system not so much otherwise there would be five full stars.
