Bulgogi Hut - Los Angeles

Although it's not the same as it was before COVID, this location is still worth a visit.

As for the meat: it was adequate. The bulgogi had a nice marinade and was enjoyable, while the brisket was just okay—nothing outstanding, but not terrible either. It was simply okay. The sides were mostly satisfactory too, though the pickled radish was likely my favorite item. Unfortunately, the kimchi left much to be desired; it was very weak, lacking in both fermentation and spice. The service was undoubtedly the highlight of my experience. The staff took the initiative to cook for us, which was perfect for our group of hungover friends. They were prompt with refills for the various sides upon request and made sure the meat kept coming. As soon as one batch was cooked or served, they quickly prepared the next, ensuring things moved along smoothly. Overall, I had a great experience and was pleasantly surprised. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area looking for KBBQ. However, the sides could really use some improvement.

The food, service, and atmosphere were excellent. I'll definitely return when I'm in LA. If you have the opportunity, be sure to visit this place!
