We ordered two bowls of Tonkatsu Ramen, karaage chicken, A5 Kobe beef nigiri, and a sushi roll I can’t quite recall right now, but everything was absolutely scrumptious. Was it slightly expensive? Yes, but considering the quality of the food and its prime location right on Hollywood Blvd, next to the Dolby Theatre, I genuinely don’t understand what some people might expect. It was worth every penny. My friend, who had the karaage, declared it to be the best chicken he’s ever had.
The food was outstanding; I had the ramen, and it was delicious. The service was decent, but it seemed like they might be understaffed or inexperienced. Nonetheless, we were still attended to properly. Overall, I would rate the food a perfect 5 out of 5.
The atmosphere was really charming, but unfortunately, I ended up with food poisoning after dining here.
Food was below average. Sticky tables and chairs. I would give 3 stars for the server though.
How can a Japanese restaurant messed up a miso soup?!?! It was a bowl of water with pieces of tofu and seaweeds, really sad. Luckily they did a decent job frying my tempura. My daughter's eel and salmon rolls were ok. The best thing about this place is our server. The place is decent.
