Darabar Thai Cafe - Los Angeles

Nice that my friends and I are here for dinner. we enjoyed the live music in the night and the friendly, attentive staff. the food was on another level. After the waiter asked to see the cook, it turned out that the owner is the one who made the court! I ordered their signature pad thai with garnel, along with the cow crying tiger. it came hot and much better than I expected. eating was well done, savory and full of aromen. a great culinary experience. I'm sure I'll be back again.

The food reminds me of a hole is the wall spot I went to in Bangkok. Got the Pad Thai w/ shrimp and it was so authentic. Added some chili oil and it was even better.

Quaint restaurant you could walk right by without knowing but pray that you don't. The decor is very minimal with very dim lights making it perfect for a romantic date. Our waiter was friendly and helpful in explaining how each dish is cooked. The chef even came out and talked to a few guests. If you love Italian and want to experience another region of Italian food, this is must try!

I love the fact that this place stays quite even on weekends. If you want a place to eat quietly this is it! The server was also really nice but she missed one of our orders and still wanted to charge us. So be careful and check your receipt before paying. My husband was craving fried rice and the we were really disappointed. It was full of ginger and lost its original taste. But we loved the soup. It was really delicious. The ped Thai Was not good either.

I had a few things from there most importantly the rice was flavorful but mushy..several white rice balls as well
