Hara Sushi has excellent service, reasonable prices, and delicious sushi. The crispy rice spicy tuna is a must, and there are many creative rolls to choose from like the Kaiju roll which has spicy tuna and sliced pineapple on top. There's plenty of indoor seating available, but the sushi bar did not seem to be available to dine at our recent visit. Nonetheless, it's a great spot with a relaxing atmosphere and I look forward to going back.
Hara Sushi is an underrated gem of a sushi spot. The service is quick, and the staff is accommodating, even taking me in five minutes before closing. The miso soup is hands down the best in town, with the perfect balance of creaminess and consistency. The Beverly Hills roll is a standout and is a must-try for any sushi lover. It's no surprise that Hara Sushi is my go-to spot for sushi, and I visit at least twice a month. I discovered this hidden gem after being turned away from the 45-minute wait down the street at Noma Sushi. Overall, Hara Sushi is definitely worth checking out for anyone who loves excellent sushi and great service.
You can feel the traditional energy field in every bite. Hara Sushi, located in West LA near Santa Monica and Brentwood offers a lot of variety on the menu, and good service to go with it. The deep fried roll and salmon rolls were delightful. Not the best sushi you'll find around, but good eats certainly. The saki and Sapora prices can't be beat! Good music and friendly vibes!
Chewey tuna sashimi on multiple occasions. Literally had to chew on it like plastic. The food here is not fresh and the service has declined severely over the last ten years. This place used to be amazing back in 2009. People used to line up because of how good and popular it was. Then the owners got greedy and doubled the size of the place while lowering the quality in half. Now it's overpriced and tastes bad, and the fish is no longer fresh.Avoid.
