Horse Theif Bbq - Los Angeles

I absolutely loved it! The food was really excellent! The barbecue sauce had a great tangy flavor and was delicious. The brisket was tasty, and the rib tips were incredibly juicy. My only complaint is that the cornbread was a bit dry, but everything else was fantastic!

The food at this restaurant is fantastic and the prices are great for the generous portions they serve. The only reason I didn’t give it a five-star rating is that the place was extremely crowded, making it difficult to find a spot to eat. It's a cafeteria-style setup, so if you're comfortable dining next to strangers and meeting new people, this place is perfect for you. Once we finally secured some seats, my only concern was that our table was dirty, and there was no way to clean it. I recommend bringing disinfectant wipes with you, as I believe the restaurant should provide some form of sanitizing option at each table. Additionally, we had to pay an extra $15 for parking, which isn’t the restaurant’s fault, but I thought it was worth mentioning—so be prepared for that, as it is a busy area.

Based on the last few barbecue places I?ve tried in LA, I thought there may be no hope for good barbecue. I?m from the south and I?ve tried barbecue from all over the south east. It can differ depending on where you are, but it?s all good! I decided to trythis place after wandering around Grand Central market. It?s right next to it, but amazingly I?ve never noticed it. It?s alittle pricey, just like everything is in LA but I have to say I wasn?t disappointed. My favorite barbecue meat is pulled porkand there?s was pretty good. Except, I prefer mine without being pre-sauced. I would get everything again besides the barbecuebeans, they were a bit too saucy. Everything else was flavorful and fresh tender. So far, it?s the top barbecue that I?ve had inLos Angeles. I certainly will return to try more from the menu! Also, I really like the outdoor seating under the trees. Veryrelaxing and a great setting for eating barbecue.

I ordered a three meat combo that included three side dishes. Everything was cooked to perfection. The brisket, in particular, was wonderfully tender and juicy. The sides were delicious as well. I would definitely recommend this place to fellow barbecue enthusiasts!

Pretty standard BBQ place, not sure why people are rating so high. All seating is outdoors at communal tables, some with umbrellas. There is also a bar that has seating. Not inside the Grand Central Market but adjacent to. Found the staff to be verynice and helpful. Food comes out fairly fast. I would prefer the meats to have a robust smoke flavor, the pulled pork was sweetwhich I really disliked. Only one BBQ sauce and it was too runny and too sour with vinegar. The sides were so so. I would lookfor other places to eat, doesn ' 't live up to the promise.
