Contribuisci feedbackLove this place. Best Sushi. We come here often. The owner is a top sushi chef. Often crowded at lunch, but go early or late or for dinner. It is a small intimate place. Worth a drive or a wait. I especially like the seared tuna sashimi and any of the rolls. Freshest fish!
After many years I came back to Nagao and as expected, Everything was delicious. Very unique rolls soy paper, cucumber wraps, Nagao special sauces, fish very soft and fresh tasting. We have albacore, yellow tail, salmon, spicy tuna. Highly recommend it, low key local and delicious!

I visit with friends at least once a week whenever I'm in town because this place serves the best, freshest sushi on the Westside. We absolutely love the spicy tuna cut roll and the spider roll, along with Nagao's special vegetable salad. I really hope Nagao doesn't leave, but I understand he deserves a break to enjoy life. Thank you, Nagao, for all the amazing sushi! My grandson, who is almost six, was looking forward to it but isn't quite ready yet… such a shame.
This is hands down the best sushi spot in Los Angeles. Tucked away in a quiet little restaurant between Brentwood and Santa Monica, Nagao, the owner and sushi master, is present every night, putting in the hard work, sharing captivating stories, and of course, crafting amazing sushi. The sashimi is exceptional, and the quality of the fish is a perfect 5/5. The owner and management also deserve a solid 5/5.
