Oh My Poki - Los Angeles

Good food, but not a great value. I'm not from downtown LA so maybe that's normal.

Located inside of a supermarket, it's a small place with BIG flavors. This place serves truly tasty poke. If you find yourself in Los Angeles, make sure to carve out some time to visit this poke paradise.

I've had their bowls constantly for years now. They are phenomenal, and my go to spot for lunch probably once a week. Cant say anything more than how amazing the food is here. The fish is excellent quality

The food was well-packaged and a good portion size as well.Poki Bowl $17.64): For my base, I got half salad half brown rice. For my side you can choose 6), I got crab meat, cucumber, onion. The other 3 avocado, extra avocado, extra crab meat) options cost an extra $1.50. They gave a big portion for the crab meat but I would have preferred more of the regular proteins. For my regular proteins, I chose salmon, spicy tuna, tamago. The proteins were good but not very flavorful. They gave a small amount of tamago too. For my spice level, I chose mild spicy but it was more like no spicy to me. For the toppings you can choose 8), I got wasabi, seaweed salad, ginger, furikake, edamame, crispy onion, crispy garlic. I'm not usually a fan of seaweed salad but this one was good. The crispy onion garlic remained crispy and were a great texture contrast for the rest of the bowl. I think they forgot the ginger though. It was a very homogeneous bowl so I thought it was okay.Miso Soup $3): One of the best miso soup I had. Not too salty and it doesn't have the seaweed which I don't like.

They missed 3/4 of my entire Poké bowl. No Ginger, Wassabi, seaweed salad, furikake, crispy, onions, crispy garlic, or masago.The only reason for messing up this bad is pure incompetence. Will never order again. Not worth $20.
