Pilot Hoxton - Los Angeles

I had mentioned it was my almost 9-year-old's birthday, but there was no acknowledgment of it. We waited 30 minutes at the table for water, and it took another 15 minutes to receive my son's drink after mine arrived. Overall, it was an expensive meal with a disappointing experience. I wouldn't return.

The restaurant offers a beautiful view of downtown Los Angeles. Inside, the clear ceiling and all-glass walls create a lovely outdoor atmosphere. The food was delicious, and the staff were helpful and attentive. However, they seemed to be a bit understaffed, so we had to wait about 10 minutes past our reservation time to be seated. Despite that, we would definitely return, and I've already recommended it to friends. Additionally, the location is perfect for dinner before a concert at the nearby Belasco Theatre.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the rooftop restaurant. The open-air setting was lovely. We ordered the rigatoni dish, and it was delicious—full of flavor and very satisfying. The initial service was excellent; our waitress was friendly and attentive, but she eventually vanished and didn’t come back, so I had to get up and find someone to get our check. Despite this hiccup, I would definitely return.

Beautiful views of downtown Los Angeles. The indoor restaurant has a clear ceiling and glass walls, and so we felt very outside. The food was delicious, the staff was helpful and attentive. They are a little staff today, and so we had to do about it. 10 minutes after our reservation. We'd come back and I've already told friends how good it was. It was also a good location for dinner before we took part in a concert at the nearby The Belasco.
