I can't wait to return with a different group of friends so they can enjoy the amazing food and vibrant atmosphere too!
This restaurant is a hidden gem located in the heart of the Flower Market. The space is quite spacious and has a fantastic atmosphere. As for parking, they offer validated parking in the street behind, but be prepared for a bit of a walk. Now, let’s talk about the food. I ordered the Waffle Chicken Sandwich, and just thinking about it makes my mouth water. The chicken is generously coated in a sweet chili sauce that tastes similar to buffalo sauce, and it pairs beautifully with the honey they provide. Their menu is very enticing and can be accessed through a QR code. The staff was attentive and friendly, eager to share details about their dishes. The only reason I'm giving this place 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the restroom situation. It seems to be shared with the rest of the building, and it's not very clean, which is unfortunate. If they owned the entire establishment, I'm sure they would keep the bathrooms spotless. Overall, I highly recommend this place but suggest avoiding the restroom.
I don’t typically write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience this time. I’m in L.A. celebrating my 23rd birthday, and my girlfriend and I decided to have breakfast here. The atmosphere was wonderful, all the servers were friendly, and the food was incredible. I ordered the pulled pork hash, and it was outstanding. Thanks for a fantastic L.A. experience!
I really don?t know what was better?.the service or the food. Mimi, our waitress was amazing!! She had an energetic and welcoming attitude that made you feel like family. The food was great! I had the pork hash and it was enough for two portions.Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting LA.
Poppy Rose offers classic comfort food with a unique twist. They had several variations on chicken waffles. I will almost always order eggs Benedict if it?s on the menu. Poppy Rose serves several different types of Benedicts. We ordered the FriedChicken Benedict, the Two Egg Breakfast Plate and a side order of one biscuit with sausage gravy. Their portions are big andtheir fried chicken was on point. I couldn?t eat all of the biscuits because the fried chicken pieces were so big. The chickenwas tender and juicy on the inside and had a nice crunch on the outside. The Benedict included a side salad which was lightlydrizzled in dressing. I would definitely order this Benedict again. The Two Egg Breakfast Plate was simple and delicious. Theyhave several lemonade choices. I ordered the refreshing blackberry lemonade. It wasn?t too sweet and I liked that it was muddledwith real blackberries. Our waitress, Michelle, was excellent. She was friendly and pleasant I appreciated her input whendeciding what I would order. The location itself was interesting. I made our reservation for outside, patio seating. The coveredpatio was on an upper level parking lot with industrial views of the city. It was very casual but something I was not expecting.Regardless of the patio situation, the food and service were excellent!
