Fun and innovative, but not reliable as to when dishes would be served.
Good food awful service Maybe because it was Saturday night.Liked the Line hotel though
There were four of us and a tremendous difference of opinion about what everyone liked. We were not unanimous about any single dish, but each of us found at least one or two we were really happy with. The vegetable pancake, croaker and duck confit fried rice usually had 3 out of 4 fans. The Knock G had 2 fans and the Vegan Hot Pot was just not that great...maybe because we didn't want too much spice. The service was poor. Very friendly but sloppy. And they seemed understaffed.
My first time at POT was an overall fun experience. I'd have to go back one or two more times to be able to write a thorough review. The food was different, interesting and creative. But the price points seemed a bit much for certain items. I ordered the fixed menu which included three courses for $30 much more reasonable than ordering the items separately. Our reservations were for 5:15pm and two out of the four of us were there by 5pm. We had the whole place to ourselves before the Friday night dinner crowd started to arrive. The service was OK during certain moments and incredibly slow at others. The music selection was awesome and a good fit for the theme/ambiance of the place. The dining room itself felt a bit claustrophobic because of the dim lighting and no windows. The food and overall dining experience was enjoyable and I'd go back to try it again.
