Summer Canteen - Los Angeles

I ordered the pork belly, calamari, tom-kha soup, and drunken noodles with tofu at this restaurant. The pork belly was absolutely delicious!!! The drunken noodles are always my go-to choice and never fail to impress. I can't wait to come back and try some other dishes, but I have to say, the pork belly was just WOW, OMG, OMG, OMG.

This restaurant definitely serves some of the best Thai food in the city. I don't usually leave reviews, but this spot definitely deserves one! The edamame was excellent and the pad see yew was amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and ate every last bite.

The food at this restaurant is fantastic and delicious. The service is excellent, prompt, and attentive. I particularly enjoy their lunch options, which are just the right size, and the atmosphere is wonderful. The only downside is that there is limited parking. Despite this, it is still a great spot for a delicious lunch.

Summer Canteen continues to impress and consistently delivers excellent food and service. Since moving to the area eight years ago this has been one of my top favorite restaurants in the city. I have never had a bad dish or bad service. The food here is freshly prepared and served hot with a smile. If you love Thai food or if you have never tried Thai food, you WILL love this place. And to turn it up a notch, I would say it's Thai Fusion cuisine. The restaurant has recently added a new happy hour menu with drink and appetizer specials. And continues to offer great lunch combo specials. Now go get your grub on!

The female waitress at this restaurant was not professional in her service. When I placed my order, she said someone else would take it, but returned 10 minutes later to do so. When I asked for the menu to be taken away, she did so without confirming if I was finished. When I inquired about the wait time for my food, she gave a vague answer and walked away. Frustrated, I asked to speak to a manager, who explained that the delay was due to a busy time. While I appreciate the willingness to accept feedback, I chose not to continue the conversation. I visited this restaurant on September 5th, 2022, at 6:15 pm.
