Homemade tofu made of black soybeans?! I mean, how can you say no to such a miracle? They offer two vegan Sundubu options, although this is not necessarily marked on the menu: mushroom and veggies. I went with the later when it contained a Medley of Broccoli, Squash and Crimini mushrooms next to their homemade tofu. The piping hot jigae came out and it was spectacular. Many tastes without being too salty and the vegetables there was really a nice kick. Couples with their purple brown rice and you are all set. In terms of the Banchan, they offer a variety of snacks while waiting for your main meal. Remember that the Kimchi is unfortunately not vegan because they contain fish sauce, but there are a few pages like their algae salad and pickled cucumbers that are safe for plant eaters. We also went an additional step and called for their exception soy milk for consumption in business. This huge bowl of house soy milk was incredibly refreshing not too sweet, but filled with taste and nutrients. I'm sure it was a page I'd have.
Vegan elections are limited, but available. Eating is okay, but not sure if return is an option
Great portions and high quality food! One of the favorite spots! The tofu is made in the house and the dishes contain so many delicious vegetables. I ordered the black bean tofu and galbi combo. The galbi was thicker than what you would find at BCD, but it was not as tender. The flavor of the galbi was good, but it required a lot of chewing. Personally, I prefer BCD for both their tofu soup and galbi. The black bean tofu was unique and I appreciated that they served multigrain rice. The service was excellent and the waitresses were friendly. The restaurant had a spacious and relaxed environment where I did not feel rushed to eat. Parking was limited, but it was free.
