I'll never be the same person again... for the better Came across the restaurant on TikTok from a food blogger and immediately bookmarked it for my upcoming trip to LA.Parking: The restaurant is tucked inside the ground floor of a packed plaza on a very busy main street. There's parking available in the lot, but I opted to park on the main street.2 person set menu $140 total for the following: Starter: mini bibimbap, miso soup, banchan 1st course: 40 piece sashimi (walu, salmon, tuna, flounder, hamachi, albacore 2nd course: Small Bite's Sampler Plate with Kimbap, corn, coleslaw, katsu, ttoekbokki, and panjeon 3rd course: Special Sashimi with octopus, uni, kraken, clam, squid 4th course: Steamed egg and Salmon 5th course: Spicy Seafood Soup with Rice Porridge
Really great place for sushi in Koreatown. One of the best places tons of variety/options and incredibly fresh. Not much else to say.
Fresh sashimi and sushi! I also love how all the banchan is for each person separately and not shared like most places. The servers are friendly and the tables are pretty big. The neon lights inside the restaurant are nice decorations and give it more younger feel. The parking lot can be full due to the fact a lot of street vendors by the restaurant.
While I know this is an unpopular opinion, I wasn't a super huge fan of this place, but this comes from someone who's been going to a local spot for 10+ years that has very similar items, plus more.I think for the cost, it's affordable and worth trying if you've never had this kind of food before. They had the addition of the live octopus and various seafood and side dishes that my local spot didn't have with the course menu, but I think there weren't as many options that I would usually get. My friends and I agreed that while you pay less, we got a lot less fish for 3 girls and 2 guys. We were definitely full and glad we checked it off our list of places to check out!
I've always wanted to try this place so I came here with my husband and ordered the M combo. Honestly we were sooo surprised by the amount of food that kept coming out. It felt like never ending side dishes. In terms of the actual entree, I was disappointed beacse they ran out of the live octopus and that was what I was most excited to try. The other seafood like the abalone and sea squirt were very slimy and I realize I wasn't a fan of it. The uni was probably my favorite from that platter. The sashimi platter was okay. The fish was fresh but I wasnt a huge fan of some of the white fish sashimi. They also charge for take out containers and you cant take any of the raw seafood so we ended up taking some of the stew home!
