The food at this restaurant was tasty and the staff was extremely friendly. We tried the grilled lamb kabob and a side of the eggplant yogurt sauce. The atmosphere was laid-back and the prices were affordable.
We were surprised that kitchen was an open table restaurant, as there is no waiter service and it is in the round a counterservice / takeout business front. Turkish food is delicious and cheap and the women on the theke are helpful and very friendly, but we expected another culinary experience. if they are in the neighbourhood only south of westwood and they are looking for a delicious, inexpensive meal, then definitiw past. if they are looking for a nice dinner/night, they will continue.
Crab dip was subpar but steamed shrimp was awesome. Server never cleared the table before bringing out more food. Then the runner looked confused when I asked her to remove the dirty plates first. My husband noticed the building was under negative air pressure caused from Kitchen hood exhaust (kitchen saloon doors sucked in) causing hot humid exterior air to rush into the restaurant when the exterior doors would open. Sit away from doors if you want A/C. Outdoor seating looked nice and led to long pier on the water.
The staff at the restaurant were fantastic - friendly, efficient, and quick. The location was great and the drinks were perfect.
