Uncool Burgers - Los Angeles

I had the worst vegan burger of my life at this restaurant. My husband and I waited nearly an hour only to receive plain vegan burgers with no sides or drinks. It took 55 minutes for our orders to arrive. When I took a bite of my burger, I found that the inside was frozen and began to doubt if it was actually vegan. My husband discovered mold growth on the bun of his burger. We ended up throwing our food away and leaving. When I tried to reach out to the company on Instagram to share our experience, they blocked me. I had to report this restaurant to the LA Health Department.

I tried this restaurant for the first time and I will definitely be returning. The food was delicious - juicy, well-seasoned, and slightly messy in all the best ways. The onion rings were crispy and satisfying. The matcha rose milkshake was also fantastic.

There are several vegan options available at this restaurant, including the Atlas Monroe chicken. I usually order the all vegan "Party in my Plants" burger, but they can also substitute an impossible patty into any burger for vegetarians. They even offer a vegan breakfast option! You can choose from a single patty, double patty, rice bowl, or salad. They also have a few drink options, including vegan milkshakes. I often choose to eat here instead of Doomie's because the $7 impossible burger with vegan cheese, sauce, and toppings is possibly the best deal ever.
