Rock Salt Ice Cream - Los Angeles

My partner and I visit this restaurant every week to sample a new flavor! They have a rotating menu and we particularly enjoy the ice creams with chunks in them. The texture of the ice cream is similar to sorbet.

This vegan ice cream was absolutely amazing. I tried the lemon poppyseed flavor and it was incredibly creamy and delicious. I was a little disappointed that the smallest size available was a half pint, as I would have preferred just a scoop, but I ended up enjoying it as my lunch. The lemon poppyseed flavor was refreshing and tasty. The ice cream is only sold from 12-5 pm on Thursdays at the Westwood Farmers Market, but it is definitely worth making a special trip for. You won't find such delicious vegan ice cream at any grocery store - it's truly unique.

This restaurant offers some of the best ice cream I have ever tasted, whether vegan or not. I enjoy the seasonal flavors and it is always exciting to see what new additions are on offer each month. Every flavor I have tried has been excellent and it seems to only be getting better. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable about ice cream, more so than anyone else I have spoken to, and it is evident in the quality of the flavors. The recent Irish cream flavor was so good that it compelled me to write this review, but honestly everything they offer is fantastic. Some of my favorite flavors from the past include Thai lime, black sesame, and mint cookie. I enjoy checking their Instagram stories every week to see what new flavors are available. I appreciate the option of half pint sizes, perfect for a small treat while strolling around Westwood. The atmosphere in that part of town on market day is lively and fun. I often take home a pint or two to share, enjoy over a few days, or indulge in all by myself while watching a movie. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

Super Wow! Rock Salt Ice Cream is tha bomb!! Their ice cream was so rich and delicious it was pure pleasure in my mouth. Maybe the creamiest I’ve ever tasted. I got the Coffee Toffee (definitely a winner! but it was really hard to choose from the amazing array of flavors. Had to go to the Westwood Village Farmers Market to try it, but it was SO worth it. Plus the market was fun and had a great selection of vegan food booths. The Rock Salters were nice people too! They went out of their way to get my panting dog water.
