The plant-based food at this restaurant is delicious and reasonably priced. Even though it's not a strictly vegan establishment, they offer a dedicated vegan menu with options like Spicy Portobello Mushroom Bowl, Channa Curried Chick Pea Bowl, Jerk Tofu Bowl, and Jerk Tofu Tacos. I tried the black beans, rice, and Jerk Tofu Tacos and was thoroughly impressed. The Caribbean spices added a great flavor. The location might be a bit quirky, but it adds to the charm. The restaurant shares space with King Donuts (which is not vegan). Formerly known as Jackfruit Cafe, I live nearby and will definitely be dining here frequently.
The vegan Caribbean dishes at this restaurant are excellent. Although the place is small and has limited hours, not every menu option is available every day. Nonetheless, it is definitely worth a visit on Crenshaw, where most of the eateries serve unhealthy fast food.
The plant-based dishes at this restaurant are tasty and affordable. Although it's not a fully vegan establishment, they offer a vegan menu featuring items like the Spicy Portobello Mushroom Bowl, Channa Curried Chick Pea Bowl, Jerk Tofu Bowl, and Jerk Tofu Tacos. I tried the black beans, rice, and Jerk Tofu Tacos and was impressed by the flavors and Caribbean spices. The location has a unique atmosphere, as it is shared with King Donuts (non-vegan). This spot was previously known as Jackfruit Cafe. Living nearby, I can see myself becoming a regular customer.
