Speaking from the heart, over the years I have patronized this restaurant, and each time was so enjoyable. Many congrats to the staff, management for adding to the many good eats in Los Banos, CA

Sugoi sushi is by far the best location for Japanese food in the Merced area. I've tried sushi at a 5 star restuarant in San Jose, and Sugoi is so indistinguishable to the sushi from San Jose's best sushi restaurant. Anytime someone asks me for a place to go eat, I always highly recommend them to go to Sugoi. I wish I could rate higher than 5 stars for this restaurant. Rich tastes, variety in the menu, and excellent overall. The atmosphere inside is quite eye catching, so much can be said about the food, ambience, and customer service. Props to the chefs on making the best food in the Merced area. Vegetarian options: There's a large variety in vegetarian and non vegetarian options. All the food is very healthy, and very fulfilling to eat.

Really disappointed we always come and get the chicken teriyaki but this time the chicken was pale and flavorless when we called cause there was basically no sauce they said they charge we want “extra “

Their teriyaki chicken is cooked in sauce doesnt come with sauce and youre charged more to get sauce, ive gotten it with sauce before theyre change for the worst
