We enjoyed excellent pizza, ravioli, lasagna, and spaghetti—everything was fantastic! I would definitely recommend this place and plan to return the next time I'm in Brownsville.
Overall, it's not too bad, especially given the limited options in Los Fresnos. The location itself leaves much to be desired, and the service is somewhat lacking. The staff, who are mostly fresh high school graduates, often seem bored and appear bothered by customers. However, the pizza is decent enough to enjoy. With the other local pizza place now closed, this is currently the only option in town. While it doesn't measure up to pizza spots in Brownsville or San Benito, it's what we have. My advice: If you live in Los Fresnos and are looking for a quick pizza fix, it works. But if you're from outside the area, save yourself the trip; Pizza Hut is only twenty minutes away in San Benito, Brownsville, or Port Isabel, and you'd be better off going there instead.
We decided to drop by on a whim while heading back to Laguna Vista, and it turned out to be a wonderful surprise. I found the pizza to be top-notch. To put it in a positive light, the crust reminded me of Domino's, which I really enjoyed. It was perfectly balanced—not too thin and not too thick. Don't forget to order a salad as well; one salad is plenty for two people. I highly recommend this place!
We've been driving by this tiny pizza joint for a few months now and haven't had reason to check it out. Now that we have I'm thinking about all the good pizza's we could have been having! Los Fresnos is a small town with no competitive pizza to keep them on their toes but on their toes they stay. Their crust is made in house I saw them making another batch. It's a bit thick for my tastes more on the thickness of Little Ceasar or Pizza Hit but it's tasty, light (but not crispy and slightly on the bland side. The marinara too struck me as a little bland until we added the toppings and then everything was perfect. This wasn't New York and it wasn't Chicago but it was a doggone good pie! We added a large house salad for two which came with garlic breadsticks and the whole thing was more than we needed for two hungry people. Their prices are reasonable, they also do carry out. The place is small seating for (I'd guess about 30. I know we'll be back. :
I go for the Turkey Sub Sandwich with everything! My gosh, they are so good! They are not selfish with the fixings on it either. At a reasonable price, too. I would suggest for people to try it even if you go for the pizza.
