Peet's Coffee - Los Gatos

Just had a coffee. Nice and clean store. Clean bathroom.

For many years, I wasn't a fan of Peet's Coffee, but it's surprisingly grown on me as a chain coffee brand. Their coffee is smooth and satisfying, and the food options are enjoyable as well. Every Peet's I've visited has had great staff, and the wonderful team at the Los Gatos location is no exception. Although I usually prefer independent coffee shops, Peet's consistently delivers when such options aren't available.

Typical Peet's experience with quick and friendly service. There are tables both inside and outside, and plenty of parking available.

I absolutely love the coffee at this place. You have to try the Peet's iced mocha—it's a must!

I have never experienced such rudeness from a store manager, Christina Adkins, in all my years of enjoying Pete's Coffee. At the Los Gatos location, you're not allowed to enter the store, so you have to order from the sidewalk outside, which is not what I expect from Pete's. When I approached to place my order without a mask—despite there being no one else within six feet and a huge plastic barrier in place—I was told that I needed to wear one. This didn't seem right to me since mask-wearing outdoors isn't typically required unless you can't maintain distance. As I was explaining this to the kind gentleman taking my order, Christina abruptly ran over and told me to leave, stating that they wouldn’t serve me. I'm really glad there’s a Philz across the street because I won’t be returning here.
