Lunch, and lots of Love in this family run hotel/ bar/ resturant. They do la carte and also a set 3 course for a very reasonable price. Today it was Mediterranean salad with thin slices of duck and a cold sausage....very nice, French bread as well. Main was Salmon or Beef and Turkey , chips and mushrooms/garlic. Dessert..lots of choice .... Good wine and of course pleasant company.. Nice feeling in the Resturant. We will return!
We intended to have lunch in another restaurant but, being Sunday, it was totally full, so we drove across the Saone to the Auberge de la Marine and had a very good lunch there, helped by very friendly service.
At the beginning welcoming is a bit cool but it betters then Having lunch on their terrace, even ageing, is pleasant, the proximity of the road isn't a problem, moderate traffic Got the menu at 28€, found it first a bit expensive but then regarding the reality of servings I found it totally justified, see pictures Quality is there too, local old recipes in wine sauce are definitely present on your plates Their blackcurrant tiramisu version : not to be missed I'll keep this address
We booked because of the location a walk into the village and right on the river Soane. The rooms are small but very clean and comfortable and the hosts eager to please. The cafe next to the restaurant is frequented by locals and weather permitting there are tables outside. The menu was impressive as was the wine list, we chose the €28 menu which was delicious, a bit heavy on the salt but otherwise perfect. Service was attentive and our small dog kept amused by staff and clients throughout our visit. We will certainly come back as the area has a lot to offer.
