Lanie's Cafe - LOUDONVILLE

The food was good. Service was great. Atmosphere a bit loud.

We were seated and ordered a nacho/dip appetizer, which arrived with stale nachos. At this point, we had only our water and the stale nachos (but great cheese dip). 1/2 hour went by before our waiter returned... and the place was NOT excessively busy or understaffed. We decided to leave and asked for fresh nachos. Paid the bill and left. And the replacement nachos were also stale!

I have been coming here since I was a kid, and I love the nostalgic feeling this place brings me. But as I've aged, so has my palette. The food was blander than I remembered the last few times I visited. Vegetarian options: Very few, I myself am a pescatarian and went with the eggplant parmigiana.

If you want Italian in the area go here! We order all the time for pick up and never have had a bad meal!!
