Kc Deeyas - Louisburg

My two chicken tacos $8) with side of black beans $3) were served just a couple of minutes after I ordered at the window. The two tacos were generously sized, with plenty of fresh cabbage mix, cheese, and flavorful, moist, shredded, marinated chicken with tasty orange sauce available bottled separately) on fresh, soft, 6 tortillas. I also enjoyed the nicely sized side of tasty black beans with cheese. I liked the somewhat friendly and efficient service. They accept credit cards, with an itemized receipt sent to the email associated with your card. You can find them in Stillwell at199th Metcalf where they have a nice outdoor seating area with picnic tables) for lunch on Thursdays, in Louisburg for dinner on Tuesdays, and at other events. Everything was delicious, and you have to like the word play on KC Deeyas versus quesadillas one of their featured items), but the prices seemed relatively high. Overall, very nice.

Not impressed!! Gardner KS has a food trucks come in for a few hours and it sounded good to me! It was perfect timing since my family was home today and Last Day of School. We check out all of the food trucks menus before we decided and went with Kc Deeyas. Menu options looked great and ordered 2 different items. It wasn 't crazy busy but it took more than 30 mins to get our food. Some people waited longer than we did. As I watch a few people go up to the window to check on their food I began to think, did we make a bad decision ? The wait for a food truck was too long. The prices didn 't seem terrible but when you add sauces and guacamole it 's not worth it. The guacamole is not with $1.50 for a dollop. Yes, avocados are expensive and we buy them often, but you need good guacamole if you are go to charge top dollar. The food quality is also not there. Flavor is missing. Just not with it !

We had KC Deeyas come for an appreciation event for our work. Talk about some of the best food I've had in Kansas City; and not just from a food truck! Amazing staff, service and very generous portions! Can't wait to find KC Deeyas out and about again.

I hired them for an annual backyard party. They arrived and were set up plenty early, The food came out very quickly. The portions are huge but more importantly OUTSTANDING! I had 80-100 guests, most of which ordered food. I made sure to go around and ask everyone how their food was. The responses were 100% great. Not one complaint. The staff was extremely pleasant and took time to answer questions about the menu. My son said it's the best Quesadilla he's ever had. I highly recommend. Thank you KC Deeyas for making our party even better.

I like this food truck. Not my favorite flavors and I wouldn't eat it all the time, but I do like it for a nice change up every once in awhile.
